Yes, you can help bring about the end of the world...of construction that is. Our plan is to operate out of the new facility by July 3rd. That gives us four and a half weeks to get a lot of tasks done. This is truly exciting!
Yet, the timing is dependent on your willingness to help. We have had such a great response to our construction effort so far. I am truly touched by everyone's labor of love. I want to ask that you would continue to serve by helping with our construction needs for one more month. Jon can't complete the project on his own. He needs our help this month to get the job done.
Jon Holm has been serving us relentlessly by tirelessly working (6am to 9pm) 6 days a week to finalize the construction project. He needs all of our help if we are going to make the July 3rd date. Let's join him in making this date a reality!
We have much to do over the next four and a half weeks, so we can use all the help we can get. Here is what's left:
1. Encouragement - We all need a little pick me up now and again. Email Jon (jonh@aspengrovechurch.org) and others you know who have been working on the building to let them know you appreciate them.
2. Cleanup - There's always something that needs cleaning.
3. Painting - We are getting close, but there are still rooms to complete.
4. Phone & Internet Wiring - Help us reach out and touch someone, by installing our communications.
5. A/V Wiring - The services will be a bit dull if no one can hear Chris Martin's awesome music.
6. Sinks, Toilets - Let's face it, when nature calls, we want to be ready.
7. Carpentry - Want to be like Jesus? Work with wood! He was a carpenter before his ministry gig took off, so if you want to be like Jesus help build the stage, hang doors, build shelves, hang cabinets.
To make this happen, volunteers have stepped up to lead the charge in different areas. Please contact them and let them know you are interested and what your available times are to work.

NOTE: if you are available to work this Saturday and will be there for lunch, PLEASE let Sammie (office@aspengrovechurch.org) know so we can get a head count for the lunch provided.
Remember, all of this construction work is for the purpose of loving our neighbor well. We have had several people stop in and ask if we are ready yet. Pray with me that our being ready has doesn't just include setting up our home at South Park, but also setting up our hearts to love people in Jesus' name.
Grace & Peace,
Scott Vermillion
